That's isn't really a fair way of judging Fairy in a bottle.It doesn't only mitigate the damage it heals, it also mitigates all the overkill. Say if you are at 12/73 hp and you are getting attacked for 35, in this case Fairy would mitigate 30 damage.Thats usually the case for "my fairy/lizard tail didnt work", since the mark prevents all healing, from reaper to feed to pantograph to fairy. In your case im not sure what happened then, but the fairy should have activated. Unless- it activated, but it was during the multi hit (x12 or x15) attack, and the rest of the multi attack killed you .
